About Us

Our owner, project managers, and coordinators have extensive experience managing logistics for dry docks, new builds and in-service projects for many major cruise lines. Our team members have worked in a variety of positions at numerous shipyards. We’re honored to have worked with Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity, Virgin Voyages, Azamara, P&O Australia, The World, Hurtigruten, and Silversea.

Aaron Ditlefsen Owner/President

USA

Born in Oakland, California, Aaron now makes his home in the mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona. He took advantage of an opportunity to work in shipyards after university and found the work incredibly interesting. When the yard offered him the chance to handle logistics, he jumped at it and has been working in that ever since. Prior to opening 3 Point Logistics in 2017, he worked for San Francisco Dry Dock and Royal Caribbean Group, along with contract work for Grand Bahama Shipyard and others.

He enjoys the sense of accomplishment when a project comes together, whether it’s been a smooth sail or the seas have been a bit rougher, it’s always satisfying to accomplish the set goals.

In his spare time, Aaron loves to read as well as take advantage of hiking in the Arizona mountains.

Lorena Galan Vice President

Spain/Malta

Born in Madrid, Lorena currently makes her home in Malta. She came to 3PL after a chance meeting with a contractor on a flight. Intrigued by his descriptions, she asked for his boss’s contact information, and the rest is history.

With 15 years of experience in logistics and operations across diverse sectors, Lorena has committed the last six years to the cruise industry where, besides working with 3 Point Logistics, she also served as the Director of Global Logistics for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. She finds the most fulfilling part of her work in seeking greater efficiency while encouraging creative thinking. Her decisive and strategic leadership is rooted in collaboration, generosity, and authenticity. 

In her free time, Lorena enjoys exploring Malta with her friends and traveling. 

Eric Bergman Logistics Project Manager

USA

Originally from Silver Spring, MD, he now lives in Everett, Washington. Fascinated by a friend’s stories about working on dry docks, Eric started working on dry docks in 2013 and has been with 3 Point Logistics from the start. He loves the challenge of overcoming seemingly impossible deadlines and challenges to create a smoothly running project. He’s married to a former 3PL Logistics Project Manager.

Lander Bollar Logistics Project Manager

Spain

After previously working in management and business consulting in the banking sector, Lander joined 3 Point Logistics in 2020 working on a dry dock for Freedom of the Seas. His favorite part of his job is starting a project with a global vision and helping the client and contractors achieve the common goal of getting the job done efficiently. He loves working with unique teams in an international environment and being part of solutions when challenges arise. As he says, “If all this can also be done with a smile, even better.”

In his free time, Lander likes to swim, play tennis, and read. He also enjoys relaxing with friends and family which include his wife, Manuela, and two sons, Iker and Victor. Travel is also a love and he does it as much as possible.


Alex Calin Logistics Project Manager

Romania

Born in Romania, Alex currently lives on the shores of the Black Sea in the tourism haven of Constanta. Raised in a marine-industry family, there was little doubt Alex would go into the family business. Holding a Navigational Officer degree for Commercial Ships from the Marine University of Constanta, Alex began his career on ships as a junior seaman for Royal Caribbean before transitioning to a Finnish company specializing in cabin refurbishment. Alex is passionate about his work, saying, ”The best feeling is the wave of accomplishment when we see the ship leaving and knowing we were a part of that.”

His language skills are valuable to the team as he speaks Romanian, English, and Spanish while also getting by with some professional French and Italian skills. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and traveling on vacation.


Vanessa Cha Logistics Project Manager

Portugal

Born in Évora, Portugal, Vanessa moved to Leiria in 2006 where she worked as a logistics coordinator and telecommunications manager. Her work with 3PL began in 2020, working on the Virgin Voyages’ new build, Scarlet Lady. As with many of 3PL’s best contractors, Vanessa was referred to us by our own Rui Ferreira. Vanessa enjoys organizing and coordinating goods and resources smoothly and efficiently. She loves the feeling of finding innovative solutions to solve complex challenges, saving time and money.

During her time off from 3PL projects, Vanessa works as a tour guide in Portugal and Spain. She also spends time with family, traveling on holidays, reading, and riding her motorbike. She speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English.


Calin Cristian

Romania

Living on the shores of the Black Sea in Constanta, Romania, Calin began working with 3PL in 2024. Before this, he worked on AEP projects for Royal Caribbean and, after taking a few years off, chose to return to the industry. He enjoys dry dock logistics which allows him to travel and constantly presents new challenges to solve.

In his free time, Calin drives trucks across Eupre for Formula 1 racing hauling equipment and car parts. His driving has taken him to Monaco, Monza, Barcelona, and Budapest where he also attends the races.

Jason deGregory Logistics Project Manager

The Bahamas

Jason hails from and continues to live in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island. He began his career in dry docks at Freeport Ship Services where he worked for eight years. While working there, he met two people, one who he calls “my dear friend, mentor and future boss, Aaron Ditlefsen. Both he and the owner of FSS, “pushed me to travel, learn, and fly the nest of small island life to broaden my horizons in the big scary world. Best choice I have ever made in the development of my personal maturity.”

Jason, an extrovert with a curious spirit, enjoys his job as it allows him to meet people from all walks of life, and explore the world while facing new challenges in new environments. He loves the challenge of being tasked with the responsibility of creating solutions on the spot. In his spare time, Jason is learning Spanish which will, no doubt, make him even more valuable in his career.


Jennie Dufour

USA

Hailing from rural Massachusetts in the USA, Jennie is now a full-time nomad, living in a school bus that she’s converting into a home.  She loves working with cultures from all over the world and enjoys the variety of challenges that a dry dock provides. She also works as a backpacking and llama packing guide in various national parks, monuments, and forests across the USA.

When not working on either of her jobs, you can find her converting her bus, off-roading in her jeep, or finding wilderness adventures somewhere in the world.  


Guilherme Farinha

Portugal

Born in Lisbon, Guilherme now makes his home in the nearby village of Palmela. Referred by our excellent team member, Vanessa, Guilherme’s first project with us was the Scarlet Lady new build.

Like so many of our team members, Guilherme enjoys working with a diverse team of logistics professionals from around the world while overcoming challenges inherent to the business. He loves being part of a successfully completed project while becoming friends with colleagues.

In his free time, Guilherme enjoys time with his nine-year-old daughter, heading to the beach, and fishing. He also likes exploring new places, especially around Portugal and Spain. Guilherme speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.



Juan Carlos Fernandez

Spain

Juan Carlos, affectionately known as Juanito, conveniently lives in Algeciras, a city in the well-known dry-dock province of Cadíz, Spain.

After working in freight-forwarding logistics for 27 years, a chance meeting brought him to working logistics on dry docks. He joined 3PL in 2019 and has since worked with us on 12 different projects. He loves working with an international team and both the learning and travel opportunities the job offers.

 In his free time, he enjoys playing padel ball and spending time with his wife and adult children, Paola and Carlos. Juanito speaks Spanish and English.



Rui Ferreira Logistics Project Manager

Portugal

In 2019, Rui was managing metal-work construction sites when, knowing his love for a challenge, his friend Nuno invited him to join 3PL. The work has lived up to his expectations with the challenges being Rui’s favorite part of the job. Speaking five languages, Rui brings extra value to 3PL.

Rui lives in a small village in Leira, Portugal with his fiancé and stepson. He also has two daughters, ages 20 and 15. In his free time, Rui enjoys the thrill of extreme offroading in his jeep.

Rashard Fox

The Bahamas

When you talk to Rashard, aka Fox 40 or just Fox, the term “team”  comes up a lot. Born and raised in Freeport, Grand Bahama, he was working as a heavy equipment operator when he met our project manager, Eric, who was impressed by his strong work ethic and positive attitude. Eric put in a good word for him and soon, Fox was working with 3PL. Seven years later, Fox continues be an integral member of our team.

He enjoys the new challenges each dry dock presents, working as a team to overcome them, and adding value to the 3PL name while growing stronger within the 3PL team.

When not working, Fox competes in the annual Bahamian cultural competition, Junkanoo, does community service, works out, and grills tasty food.


Parker Franz

USA

Born in Minnesota, Parker now makes his home in the much warmer climate of Tampa, Florida.

“I like that the job is that it's never the same and never boring. It’s taught me to be fluid and adaptable.” As is true for so many, he also enjoys working with people from all over the world. He finds satisfaction when the job is done, knowing the challenges that were overcome to bring it to a successful end.

During his time off of work, he loves snowboarding and online gaming. He also enjoys riding and training horses, as well as spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their dog.  

Alfred Gibson

The Bahamas/USA

“Firecracker,” as he’s known to all of us, was born in Nassau, grew up in Freeport, and now lives in the U.S. While working in Grand Bahama Shipyard he met our team member, Eric who introduced him to our owner, Aaron, and the rest is history.

Firecracker seeing a project through from start to finish with, what he says, “ïs the best team, hands down. Watching a ship being stripped to the bare bones and then put back together in a set timeframe, and knowing that I (along with my amazing team) have helped with it is a fulfilling feeling that I’m grateful for.”

In between projects, Firecracker likes spending time with friends and family.


Jeremy Grasby

USA

Hailing from British Columbia. Canada, Jeremy was introduced to dry dock logistics by a long-time friend. He enjoys both the challenges of projects and the flexibility of contract work, as well as being a part of a team. Traveling is also a benefit. Like others, he appreciates the feeling of a successfully completed project.

In his spare time, Jeremy likes spending time outdoors, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his friends, loving wife, and two amazing children, ages 19 and 16. He speaks English and, as he calls it, Dry Dock Spanish.


Robert DeSay Howell

USA

DeSay and his wife Krista live on a boat in Valdez, Alaska or at their cabin in Nelchina. He joined 3PL in 2018 and hasn’t looked back. “I can't imagine a better boss or more fun people to work with. In challenging situations, you generally get to see people's true nature and 3PL is full of just really good people.” Like so many, DeSay enjoys the opportunity the job provides to travel and get to know people from around the world.

DeSay and Krista are passionate snowmobilers and enjoy trips on them through the mountains and leading expeditions around the state. In January 2025, they’re planning a 2,300-mile snowmobile trip around Alaska, camping all the way. Boating is also a hobby and they’ve sailed all over the Pacific, Caribbean, and along the East Coast of the U.S.


António Eduardo Jordao

Portugal

António, nicknamed Dadinho, has worked in logistics since he was a 23 year old in the Portuguese army. He loves the constant demands and challenges of the work. While onsite, he enjoys working with people from different cultures and backgrounds, which he finds offers him growth. He also enjoys the variety of projects, cities, and shipyards which have helped him improve his adaptability. He finds fulfillment when hired for new projects and on new teams, and loves receiving reports that the client and team were happy with his work.

In his spare time, António helps friends with work on the farms they own. He travels in Europe to watch a traditional forcado group he used to belong to. He supports the football club Sport Lisboa e Benfica. António speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish.


Filipe Monteiro Logistics Project Manager

Portugal

Born in Porto, Portugal, Filipe currently lives in Leiria. In 2022, fellow team member Vanessa recommended him to 3PL and he joined us for his first project in Trieste, Italy. Like so many others on our team, Filipe loves the variety of challenges that come with different projects and the gratification that comes with a successful completion. He’s also thrilled to travel the world and experience new cultures. Finally, he truly enjoys working with our owner. “Working with Aaron is an incredible experience, and I have immense respect for him. He is one of the most amazing people I've ever met, and he always takes care of those who work with him.”

In his free time, Filipe enjoys spending time with family, hiking in the mountains, and riding his motorbike. He finds one of the many benefits of traveling the world is learning new languages. Currently, he speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and a little French.

Peter Moore

Canada

Born in Toronto, Peter holds citizenship in both Canada and Ireland and currently spends summers in Canada and winters in Malta. While in Canada, he works as a captain for Toronto Island Ferries.

Fairly new to our team, Peter was introduced to Aaron through a former team member. Having a passion for organization, he finds the warehouse side of projects very satisfying. Peter likes many aspects of the job, including working with a smaller team in a fast-paced environment, working through challenges, and fulfilling special requests. He also likes getting to know the dock staff and other contractors from around the world. He especially enjoys our projects in France which allow him to practice his French and translate for others.

In his free time, Peter likes riding his motorcycle and traveling. He’s happiest when he’s able to combine the two.

Avaran Rolle

The Bahamas

Living on the beautiful Island of Bimini, Av, as he is known, is surrounded by water.

Av began working with us in 2017, making him one of our original team members. He loves the opportunities that managing logistics on dry docks offers including seeing old coworkers and meeting new ones. Of course, the opportunity to travel is a bonus.

“I feel a sense of accomplishment when a job is completed on time and the client is appreciative of the job we do and the end result. I also love being asked to work on new projects; my bags are always packed.”

Av is a busy man in his time off from 3PL. He is a reggae artist with various recording and live performances, and he runs a small printing business. His family includes a daughter and granddaughter.

Carole Rosenblat Assistant

USA

Originally from Detroit, Carole is geographically fluid and currently lives in Budapest, Hungary. She’s spent her life working in travel and tourism, including eight years onboard cruise ships. She’s our virtual assistant as well as a freelance travel writer, copywriter, and owner of a tour company for women.

Carole connected to 3 Point Logistics through our owner, Aaron, as they both previously worked for a camping/adventure tour company. In her spare time, she loves traveling and exploring new cities, hiking, and books. She’s also a passionate humanitarian-aid volunteer. When she’s not working, she loves traveling and has visited 70 countries.

Mark Spurrel Senior Logistics Specialist

Canada

Working in the marine industry for 30 years, “Coach” is an old sea dog. It was during his 15 years working for Royal Caribbean that he met our owner, Aaron.

Coach loves the sense of accomplishment he gets when completing a job. “It’s the test of coming to a job and, even if you know what the project entails, it will always have its challenges. The relief when it’s done is exhilarating.” He also likes seeing friends from his time at sea and the flexibility that the career affords.

In his spare time, Coach stays close to home in Canada where he occasionally does forestry work— cutting trees, chipping the branches, processing the wood, splitting, piling, and selling, He also enjoys tinkering with his cars. He’s visited 40 countries.

Virgil “Chuck” Stewart

Bahamas

Virgil, known to us as Chuck, was born and raised in Freeport, Bahamas where he continues to live. He worked as an operator, foreman, and manager of the logistics department at the Grand Bahama Shipyard for 17 years which is where he first met Aaron and the 3PL team. After leaving the GB Shipyard in 2020, he worked as a heavy equipment operations manager at Arawak Port Development in Nassau, Bahamas. After his father-in-law in Bulgaria passed away, he and his wife decided to move the family there to be with her family. Realizing that working with 3 Point Logistics would offer the opportunity to work in a field he enjoyed, and knowing he could be an asset to the team, he reached out to Aaron. “I felt this was a job that I could step into from day one and contribute to. I also saw this as an opportunity for me to make Bulgaria my home base.”

Chuck finds fulfillment working with a diverse team to complete challenging projects that keep him on his toes.

In his free time, Chuck enjoys going to the beach with his wife and sons, Richard (born in Bulgaria) and Erik (born in the Bahamas), as well as exercising and listening to music. He speaks English and Bulgarian.
